How to Measure Head
Place the string or tape around your head across the mid-forehead through the fullest part at back of head, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. This is the basic measurement for where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size. Keep in mind special types of headwear, for example a percher or fascinator, will require different measurements.
