Description
The head block, also known as a utility block, is made in the USA of traditional native basswood. This is a hardwood. One can push pins in but using a small hammer to tap them in is easier. If treated properly, a wooden block will last many years. Remember to always cover a block with plastic wrap or aluminum foil before blocking. Remove that cover when finished. This saves the block and prevents dye stains on the block or the next hatbody.
Select from sizes 21, 21-1/2, 22, 22-1/2, 23, 23-1/2, 24, 24-1/2, 25, 25-1/2, and 26. Please Note: the 20 inch and 20-1/2 inch sizes are special order only. Allow two months for completion.
