Grade 1, linen like 1×1 weave handwoven in China. Easy to work with and hand manipulate, will accept dye.
Sisal hat bodies are woven in a 1×1 weave pattern which resembles linen. The sisal straw originated in Mexico but has been naturalized in other tropical climates.
